Crêchendo Playgyms is closing its current activity centres at the end of July 2008. Crêchendo was founded 18 years ago in 1990 and has been one of the main pioneers in developing a market that offers a wide range of activity classes for babies and children. Crêchendo has become a highly regarded brand name and over 50,000 families have attended our classes. So why close Crêchendo's current sites? Founder Philip Davies explains "In the last two decades the pre-school activity market has developed beyond all recognition. There is now much more choice along with an ever increasing recognition of the benefits of pre-school play. The challenge in today's market is finding high quality venues in the right locations - at the right cost. |

for nearly 20 years. We decided that the only way we can stay on top is to re-launch Crêchendo within the next two
years - in new venues that meet today’s and tomorrow’s families' needs. "New venues will require substantial investment as well as time to secure the best locations.
