Hampshire Services for Children and Young People is committed to developing and supporting Leaders and Managers within early years and childcare settings. As an integral part of the Hampshire Early Years and Childcare Leadership and Management Strategy, Crechendo is delivering a fully funded programme of qualification and development courses for those leading and managing Childcare, Early Years and Playwork settings.
The new EYFS framework (from September 2012) and revised Ofsted inspection framework include judgement on the effectiveness of leaders and managers. Are you confident that you/your senior staff/your committee have the skills and confidence to meet these judgements?

ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management
This is a 5 or 6-week programme accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) for those wishing to develop their leadership and management skills. Covering techniques such as problem solving and decision making you will bring these together to enable you to lead and inspire your team. You will be required to attend all sessions and to submit written tasks for assessment.
CPD - Professional Development Programme
A series of standalone sessions to motivate you and support you in inspiring those you work with. These could be an entry to the Level 3 Qualification or a refresher on skills and issues relating to your role as a Leader and Manager. We adopt a lively and realistic approach to aspects of your work and help you to apply the learning to your own situation.
